Descrizione

Bombay, The Bombay Natural History Society, 1906. In two parts. 8vo (24.5 x 16.5 cm). 64 pp., 39 (groups of) text figures. [Part I: pp. 51-71; text figures 1-15 [recte 14]; II: pp. 299-333; text figures 16-40]. Disbound. = Written by the British naturalist Frank Wall (1868-1950) was exclusively interested in snakes. According to Adler he wrote about 215 papers over a 30-year period. This work was later transformed in a popular booklet, but this is the very rare original edition. Added: a printed errata slip by the Journal's editors, correcting some error in Part II (partly torn, with slight loss of text). Otherwise very good.
