Original green cloth; spine with gilt title. Black endpapers. = This is the complete, seldom-seen, sixth volume of the Zoology Series from the famous series, The zoology of the Challenger Expedition. It contains two major monographs; the first on sea anemones, the second on sea squirts, as well as the general title page, contents page and editorial note. Both monographs include descriptions and beautiful illustrations of many new or poorly known species. Boards and spine cover entirely detached; worn at extremities, the front board missing part of the cloth cover. Cancelled bookplate on the front pastedown. Otherwise, however, a very good, clean copy. Rare. Nissen ZBI, 4754.
