A very clean very tight copy with unmarked boards, very minor wrinkling to board covering and no bumping to corners. Extremely scarce. 151pp. Very well illustrated with fascinating details of cotton manufacturing machinery including drawing, doubling, winding, carding, weaving, spinning, balling and gassing. Includes many tables and photographs of twenty-eight cotton mills in Lancashire and throughout the world.
